Instructor

Shirley Blake,  Shirley began painting in the early 1980’s, has studied with local, national and international artists. She has taught painting to others since 1987. She works mainly in acrylic on canvas but has a background in watercolor, mixed design elements and collage. Her painting style is abstract focusing on design elements, color and composition. She holds signature memberships in the International Society of Acrylic Painters, International Society of Experimental Artists and Lifetime Membership in the Minnesota Watermedia Society.
