Plein Air Event at Koreshan State Park
January 28, 2026
January 28, 2026
The January 28th Plein Air Painting has been moved closer to Koreshan State Park at 3800 Corkscrew Road, Estero. We will be painting from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm wherever you choose to set up in the Park. Near the Pavilion there are lots of picnic tables. There are other picnic tables and benches scattered around the park. Portable potties are near the Pavilion.
Entrance fee is $4 per person or $5 per car if some of you want to go together.
At 1:30 pm we will gather at the Pavilion and share our artwork and decide on the next Plein Air location. For those of who would like, we can select a place nearby to go to for a late lunch.
Reminder for Plein Air Painting:
Bring your painting equipment as you do when you paint at the Rec Center.
If you are not planning on using the picnic tables, you will need to bring an easel, or a chair and small table. Also remember there isn't water, so take a water jug and container for your water, a plastic bag for trash, a visor, sunscreen and bug spray are also nice to have.
Attached is a map of the park showing where parking is near the Pavilion or check out their website for further information at - www.floridastateparks.org/parks-and-trails/koreshan-state-park
