​Instructor Monica Coburn-Henderson

I started painting with oils and would spend days making a picture 'perfect' ... as if I ever found my own work perfect (ha-ha). I usually second guess my work and try to walk away or just breathe. I love it when I get so engrossed in a painting that I forget what time it is ... that is when I know I am working on something special. I'm mostly using acrylics now and attempting to stretch into watercolor. I have found multi-media and other mediums very interesting to play with! I never stop learning and still find myself taking classes from other teachers. It's all about the process.
