Light Molding Paste & Fluid Acrylics with Jeanette Richards
Class Description & Supply List
(Bring a sack lunch)
Each student will use a palette knife to apply light molding paste to a small canvas. This canvas will be set aside to dry & use another time. How the paste can be enhanced or manipulated will be discussed. Then everyone will be given a 12" x 12" canvas with dried molding paste already added. With this unique surface ready to paint, everyone can begin adding fluid acrylics. As we add light washes with fulid acrylics, we will see the variance between transparent and opaque. I will bring reference photos of florals: you may bring your favorite photos to use also. We will discuss a few tips to keep in mind when designing & composing your painting. I will give guidance as your paintings evolves. Experimenting and trying new things is always a challenge . . . we are always learning. Most of all, we will have fun.
