​Jeanette Richards

Grateful! My response to growing up in a family of artists. My father was Art Director for Dow Chemical Co., my mother was fluent in pastels, oil & watercolor. I have many extended family members who are artists, others in advertising & architecture.

I studied Art & English Literature at University of Dayton. I have worked in several mediums throughout the years ...... stained glass, pottery, watercolor, oil, gouache & acrylics. Painting with acrylics is my current passion.

I continued my journey in art by taking many workshops from nationally celebrated artists. Some of my favorites: Don Andrews, Frank Francese, Tom Francesconi, Lana Grow, Chen Kee Chee, Carrie Burns Brown, Donna Zagotta, Kate Worm, John Salminen, Keiko Tanabe, Karen Knutson.

Art organizations: Phipps Center for the Arts; Artreach, Stillwater, MN. NorthStar Water-media Society as a signature member; Arts Bonita & Estero Art League in Southwest Florida.
