Michael's Abstract Acrylic Class supplies
Supports: Canvases, illustration board, panels, 140 lb. watercolor paper. Best if surfaces are gessoed, preferably no smaller than 8x10 or larger than 18x24.
Paints & Mediums: Tube or jar acrylic paint, (heavy, medium body or fluid) Colors you need are: Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Red, Ultramarine Blue, Phthalo Blue, Cad Yellow, Raw Sienna plus Black and White. Optional: Cadmium Orange, Green or Violet, Acrylic inks, fabric paints or acrylic house paint, matte medium.
Palette: An oil or acrylic palette with a cover, or freezer wrap or heavy plastic and a large zip-lock bag.
Brushes: Acrylic or oil painting brushes or watercolor brushes. 1”, ½” flats, #4, #8-10 rounds.
Optional: 2” flat or #4-6 rigger or any size you like.
Odd & ends: Sketchbook, water bucket, paper towels or cotton rags, latex gloves, Exacto knife, old credit cards, spray bottle and plastic wrap. Crayons, colored pencils or markers.
