Starting Monday, June 4th the Estero Art League's open painting sessions will
begin at 8:00 am and end at 11:00 am. Sessions are held at the Estero Community
Center at 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd. and this time change will be in effect through

Estero High School senior artwork

On April 11, 2012 three members of the Estero
Art League: Barb Newhenhisen, Ina Wolf and
Joe Johnston spent an afternoon reviewing over
25 Estero High Senior Art Student’s portfolios.
Estero High School art instructor, Laura White
had helped the students gather and display their
paintings and pencil drawings. First place for a
$200 scholarship was awarded to Mari Jose
Roa. The Art League members couldn’t agree
on 2nd and 3rd place winners so three
honorable mention scholarships of $50 each
were awarded to Katorina Pedit, Florinda
Patterson and Jessica Rojas.
