Estero Art League Library Exhibit and Reception
The Estero Art League opened a show at South County Regional Library,
21100 Three Oaks Parkway in Estero with a reception for the public on January
19th.  Twenty-one artist/members participated with forty-seven paintings.  The
show featured artist, Jackie Marth.  One of her paintings was chosen to be used
as the design for tee-shirts promoting the Southwest Reading Program.  Over
80 visitors attended the reception and the paintings will remain on display at the
library until February 16th.

The Estero Art League is pleased to offer a new opportunity for its members.  
Judy Ladd will be leading a “Draw to Paint” group every Monday in February
and March from 12:30pm to 3:00pm at the Estero Community Center at 9200
Corkscrew Palms Blvd.  The program begins with project development,
emphasizes drawing techniques and works through a completed painting.  
Participants will be able to concentrate more fully in areas that they would like
to strengthen in their work with one-on-one help.

Judy Ladd holds an MFA in art from Notre Dame University.  She operated an
art coop gallery, taught high school art and classes in a variety of venues.  Her
porcelain jewelry with hand drawn beads have been featured in many fine art
shows along with her watercolor paintings.
